ABOUT PRISCILLA ROGERS
Priscilla E. Rogers was born, raised and educated in design on the East Coast of the United States. While working in design she realized that she also loved working internationally. So over the years she has worked extensively in product development and the global sourcing of products from concept to international production. For more than 10 years she lived outside of the USA and worked in places such as Central America, Mexico and South East Asia. While being in those areas of the world, she pursued her love of art, textiles, jewelry, beads and design.
In 2001 Priscilla started Ooh-La-La Designs and began creating one of a kind unique beaded jewelry and accessories. In her continued pursuit of components for her jewelry she discovered the art of lampworked glass beads. It was love at the first experience of “playing with fire”. Today her own lampwork beads add product differentiation to her unique jewelry.
A fascination for working with the torch and hot glass has lead to increased interest and sales in her unique lampwork beads and jewelry. Creating her own lampworked glass beads has allowed her to incorporate her unique sense of color that has been strongly influenced by her international living and the industries in which she has worked. She is currently selling her jewelry at fine craft shows and has retail outlets in Studios 9 & 25 in Spanish Village located in Balboa Park, San Diego, California.
